My year on IJ.
Random meme googling led me to this very strange way to review the year:
Take the first sentence you posted from every month and add the first photo you posted that same month...
(Taken from http://clasticdetritus.com which happily is a "blog about sedimentary geology".)
Don't think it quite works for blogs that are as frivalous as this one, but hey, let's review the shallow. :D
JAN:
"One day soon I will get better at this technical stuff." Matthew does not agree.
FEB:
"Slightly porny misfits icons which I hope qualify for posting today."
MARCH:
"I am incapable of not filling in forms."
APRIL:
"Is it on me? I feel like I have the crazy on me."
MAY:
"So even with the loosest application of Eskimo time zones I still missed your birthday by a mile, but hey, it's never too late to celebrate right?!" The standard birthday posts. ;)
JUNE:

winterlover and he said I should set you up with him on a date and I said you were too cute for him, although he is 'well worldy' too by his own estimation (I think that is chav for cute), but obviously I said he'd have competition from me so now he's running round the flat chanting "threesome" and this is really not how I saw your birthday gift going so (quickly changing tack), have some booze on me - you know how I like to get you drunk!"

"I was messing around the other day but still I really have no idea why this happened."
SEPT:
"Why is there so much sad poetry in the world?"
OCT:
"Mostly I'm insane, also I just wanted to see if I could do it because I've never written anything long before."
Didn't post any photos in October. Don't worry though. Back up is here. In the form of the Elite Military Pelicans of London Zoo.
NOV:
"Some of you may have noticed some of the flail and frantic scrambling on twitter over the last week that may have seemed even more random than usual."
DEC:
As with the circle of life this is my first December post. So you get:

But I don't want to repeat Matthew Goode because he's just not that representative of the year so...
My ovaries are convinced these two should be in a film together. One involving only tall people. Who frown well.

Maybe at some point I'll look at doing something more reflective and serious but at the moment it would be mostly "Woe me I had a Lil and soon she leave me." So I'll work on the positivity of that message and get back to you!
