Day Three: Comment to someone you haven't ever interacted with before or introduce yourself to someone you've interacted with and friend/follow them.

Weeeeeeeeeeeee! I've been thinking/meaning to friend [livejournal.com profile] pointblankdarcy   for ages and this totally gave me the impetus. :D I also commented on two fabulous fanmixes at [profile] waywardmixes made by people I hadn't interacted with before.

Day Four: In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts.

I'm finding this one difficult for some reason, idky. I guess the part afraid to ask for sums it up?

1? I always get anxious when asking for betas and more people in general to discuss writing-y things with would be lovely. Even the people I do have lovely chats with, I would always love to have more!

2? I would love recs for GK fanart - I don't have enough in my life I don't think.

3? I'm going to steal from other people:  [livejournal.com profile] sying  put in my mind the necessity of a Brad and Poke friendship story based around Poke being friends with Brad just to piss him off. I still would love to read that.

Day Five: Stretch yourself a little and try something new. Go play in a new fandom or with a new pairing. Try working in a new medium. Or consume different fanworks. Give that new fandom a go. Listen to a podfic or watch some vids if you haven’t before.

Ha. Well. I've got a new microphone and I've been trying to podfic some drabbles as practice but the results so far are fuzzy and cold-ridden! :C More practice required!

Also, a couple of people on my flist have recommended Rest and Be Thankful by Ione as a great Yuletide read and I don't know the fandoms but I plan to give it a read this evening anyway. :D
