Also I did it yesterday but didn't post because *shrug* FML but turns out yesterday was way sparklier than today so you get yesterday with today's tipbits thrown in.

Scans room desperately for things that make me seem interesting...

-My laundry
-2 month old birthday balloon still valiantly sticking to the ceiling
-Pretentious Roland Barthes quoting mug from pretentious uni days (no mint hot chocolate left)
-2 lollies (Important update: there is now only one lolly)
-Henry the Hoover
2. How do you style your hair?
I get out of bed and I wash it, what do you want from me? Brushing is for wimps - that is a life philosophy. (See: I have moved on from Barthes).
3. What are you wearing now?
PJs and a duvet. (Still true)
4. What's your occupation?
The more I think about it the less I can answer this question.
5. Name a favorite something (flower, rock, food, film, song, etc.) that you think no one knows?
Licking marmite off the knife. It's not that no one knows about it, just very few admit it.
6. Who was the last person you hugged?
Deesha and Lucy who I used to work with and who I miss everyday. (Now factually incorrect: today I hugged a young turkish girl who learnt English in Wales and speaks with a beautiful Welsh valleys accent. She looks after her whole family and is an all round megastar. I hugged her twice. I secretly heart her.)
7. What is/was for dinner?
Korean pancakes. (thinking of having pancake day pancakes now though).
8. What did you do today?
-Went on tumblr/was late for work. These two things mean the same thing. (Read porn, was late for work).
-Wrote letters, read witness statements, spoke to clients, other random work stuff, ranted about the Home Office being torturous bastards, went to a boring meeting and scowled, found my boss’s lost earring and got called heroic when I returned it. (Variations on this theme. No heroism.)
-Met girls I used to work with for coffee in London Review Bookshop.
-Saw actor Ben Whishaw in the same bookshop. Stared at him a lot, spoke extra loud while trying to sound intelligent. Tried not to think about this:

-Failed
-Ate the aforementioned Korean pancakes.
-Came home and was compelled to fill in meme as if it was some kind of benefit form.

10. If you had to change your name, what would you change it to?
Beth, because even though I always wanted to be Jo, I loved Beth.
11. What was the last item that you bought (that wasn't food)?
Flight to Geneva for the weekend after next! Hello Switzerland!
12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Right now? NZ. Is that creepy? Even if Aldi and Lil weren’t causing an Eskimo convergence gravitational pull and there weren’t fairy mobiles there, Middle Earth is my mecca.
I really want to go to Sri Lanka to visit a friend this time next year though so money for that would be ace.

Anything to sing to.

Absolutely, my granny’s. She is quite deaf and has alzheimers and I’m convinced we are missing out on 9/10s of the witty, rude comments she has in her mind. She is shameless. I want in.
