GENEVA! I WENT THAR...

...AND ALL YOU GOT WAS THIS LOUSY POST!

I was on holiday! For 3 whole days! And I took really random pictures! (!!! IDEK)

So Geneva.

It has a lake. With a Jet D'eau. And a Cathedral. I took pictures of these.





In the Cathedral there is a Chapel of Rohan. (This is not interesting.)



The tower, I climbed it. For this view:



I made lots of new friends on my trip: (Because when something is called the Barbarian Museum, you have to go in).



They are not native to Geneva, but seemed to be quite at home there. They wouldn't tell me their names. *sad face*

I will soon be making my own version of this shield. And yes, human hair is required.

I also went to visit the International Committee of the Red Cross. I learnt interesting things about nurses, and amputation and the Australian red cross:







Other than these highlights (YES HIGHLIGHTS) the trip was pretty much a cafe crawl round different parts of Geneva. And I can also verify for you that Swiss Chocolate really is amazing. *uploads for everyone*

1. You have to watch pretty woman 38 times (specifically) in order to manage the snail tongs effectively. To enjoy eating them, coat in garlic. If it's a vampire day you may struggle.

2. A crawled up stairs to bring you that picture. With a back pack. Applaud me. But Yay, Geneva is pretty.

1. I've seen Pretty Woman at LEAST 50 times, I should be all set. However, everyday is a vampire day for me, so that ups the challenge. :/

I know right! To be honest the whole museum was pretty intense, it had a wall with every war and natural disaster for about the last 150 years and there were all the medical utensils from back in the day and lots of horrific war footage and racks and racks of names of prisoners of war. But it was an awesome trip and I'm so glad I went.

Also, they're like... escargot forceps... Hahahahahaha, who the hell invented those? French gentry who couldn't stand to get the oil on their fingers? What? Hahahahaha, I find those so much more amusing than I should. Especially considering the fact that they're actually a pretty useful invention.

That Red Cross picture - the second one - what exactly is going on, there? With the nurse and the two men?

Also, cafe-crawling pretty much IS traveling. Even if you're in a country that doesn't even really HAVE cafes.

And cathedral and food pictures are always necessary. Always. I had lots in my trip report. You were awfully restrained. (So was momogermany. Seriously. What's wrong with me?)
